"This has marked our full shift from Husein Sastranegara International Airport, Bandung, West Java," Lion Air's Corporate Communications Strategic Danang Mandala Prihantoro said in a statement here Monday.
Lion Air will operate 26 flights per day to 10 domestic destination cities, namely Medan, Pekanbaru, Batam, Surabaya, Denpasar, Mataram, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, and Makassar.
It will operate seven check-in desks, Prihantoro said.
The baggage handlers for departures will use conveyor belt number 1 for domestic flights, customer service is on the 3rd floor of the airport, embarkation terminal at ground floor, and baggage claim will use the conveyor belt near the lost and found desk.
"Thank you for the cooperation and the good coordination with the regulator, airport operator, air traffic navigation, all employees of Lion Air, so that Lion Air operation in Kertajati can run smoothly to provide its best service," he said.
