The target can be realized with the launch of the West Java Calendar of Events 2019, Head of the West Java Tourism and Culture Office Dedi Taufik stated here on Tuesday.
"May the launch of the West Java Calendar of Events 2019 be able to attract more tourists," he remarked, adding that the tourism sector is expected to contribute Rp43.5 trillion to West Java's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) from 2019 to 2023.
During this year, West Java will have held 262 events, including 113 arts events, 85 cultural events, 23 culinary programs, and 24 sport events, he noted.
