"Tomorrow, the plan will be examined against Sofyan Basir, the former President Director of PLN, in this case. The details are whether the IND suspects or BSP suspects may be informed tomorrow," KPK Spokesman Febri Diansyah said here on Wednesday.
The antigraft body has determined three suspects in the case, namely members of the House of Representatives Commission VI, Bowo Sidik Pangarso (BSP), Indung (IND) from the private sector, and Marketing Manager of PT HTK, Asty Winasti (AWI).
For Asty, the case is currently undergoing hearing at the Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor).
In addition, Febri said the KPK will continue to explore allegations of sources of gratification funds against Bowo regarding the summons to Sofyan.
Asty allegedly gave a bribe of around 158 thousand US dollars and Rp311 million in several stages from May 2018 to March 27, 2019.
In building up the construction, it was explained that at first, the PT HTK ship rental agreement had been terminated.
There are efforts to make PT HTK ships reusable for PT Pupuk Indonesia's fertilizer distribution purposes. To realize this, PT HTK requested assistance from Bowo Sidik Pangarso.
Furthermore, on February 26, 2019, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between PT Pilog and PT HTK.
One of the parts of the MoU comprised the transportation of ships owned by PT HTK used by PT Pupuk Indonesia.
Bowo allegedly asked PT HTK for a "fee" for the transportation costs received in the amount of 2 US dollars per metric ton.
It was previously suspected that there had been six receipts in various places such as hospitals, hotels and PT HTK offices totaling Rp221 million and 85,130 US dollars.
The money received was alleged to have been converted into Rp. 50,000 and Rp. 20,000 as found by the KPK team in envelopes at the PT Inersia office in Jakarta.
Furthermore, the KPK also secured 84 boxes and two plastic containers containing around 400,000 envelopes with money totaling Rp.8.45 billion, allegedly prepared by Bowo Sidik Pangarso for the "dawn attack" (vote-buying) in the 2019 Election.
The money was allegedly related to Bowo's candidacy as a member of the Indonesian Parliament in the Electoral District of Central Java II.
