"This is in accordance with our vision to not only be domestic market-oriented but also to expand our reach abroad," Assistant of the Sales Department Head PT Sokonindo Automobile (DFSK Indonesia), Rifin Tan, remarked here on Thursday.
In 2019, DFSK Indonesia has been exporting some 100 light economic cars, called SuperCab, to the Philippines and China.
Apart from SuperCab, DFSK Indonesia had exported 200 SUV Glory 560 cars to Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Nepal, Hong Kong, and Bangladesh.
Tan noted that DFSK Indonesia remains committed to contributing to increasing the volume of automobile exports and expanding its market to other nations.
For the domestic market, DFSK had opened some dealers across Indonesia, including in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara.
Tan noted that currently, infrastructure and tourism development in West Nusa Tenggara had driven the automotive market's growth in the region.
Hence, DFSK is keen to partake in the development by offering quality and affordable automobile products.
"We see that economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara has continued to move forward, so we hope that the arrival of DFSK would contribute a 10-percent sale of the total market in the region," Tan noted.
