We are gathering here to issue a statement of our stand, including denouncing and condemning strongly Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Bandarlampung, Lampung (ANTARA) - Members of tens of mass organizations grouped in the movement 62+ care about Palestine congregated in the Lampung provincial capital of Bandarlampung on Friday to expression their opposition to Israeli aggression against Palestinians.

They marched from Taqwa Mosque on Raden Intan Street to Adipura Monument in Bandarlampung.

"We are gathering here to issue a statement of our stand, including denouncing and condemning strongly the Israeli aggression against Palestinian people," Chief of the People's National Committee for Palestine (KNRP) of Lampung Chapte Cucu Mulyono remarked in Bandarlampung on Friday.

He expressed deep concern over the sufferings inflicted upon Palestinians owing to the Israeli military aggression in what he described as a real violation of human rights and international law.

To this end, he called on the Indonesian government and House of Representatives (DPR) to coax the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to impose sanction against Israel for its military aggression against Palestinian people.

He also urged the international community to press the United Nations to take concrete steps to end the Israeli cruelty.

Adiansyah of the Indonesia Islamic Business Forum (IIBF) of the Lampung Chapter claimed to always support the Palestinian people's struggle to build the economy of families and people in favor of the Palestinian people's struggle.

"What we have to realize now is the need to strengthen economic self-reliance to continue to help the Palestinian people's struggle," he added.
