In addition to Pramono, four other high-ranking police officers joining the transfer of office ceremony were Inspector General Nana Sudjana, who became Jakarta Police chief to succeed Gatot Pramono; Inspector General Agung Sabar Santoso, who officially became Banten Police chief; Inspector General Tomsi Tohir, as police chief of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB); and Inspector General Hendro Sugiatno, as assistant to the Police Chief in charge of planning affairs.
In the meantime, on Nov 1, 2019, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) installed Gen. Idham Azis as the new Indonesian Police chief, replacing Gen. Tito Karnavian, who was appointed as the home minister.
