"As of March 11, 2020, as many as 3,892 people have asked for information about COVID-19 via our phone numbers 112 and 119, as well as our WA number," Head of the Jakarta COVID-19 Response Team Catur Laswanto said at Jakarta City Hall, here on Thursday.
The Jakarta authorities have placed 445 people under monitoring (ODP), but of the total, 347 people have completed the monitoring period, while 98 people remain under the monitoring process.
"Meanwhile, there have been 219 people under the surveillance (PDP) status, but 116 of them have been declared healthy and returned home, while 103 people are still being treated," Catur said.
The Jakarta Provincial Government has called upon the public to remain calm and vigilant, and assured them that the government is very serious, ready, and capable to deal with the coronavirus that has spread throughout the world.
"One thing is that COVID-19 can be cured. People who need more information regarding COVID-19 can contact number 112/119 or DKI Jakarta Health Office post at 081388376955 via telephone or WA," he said.
To date in Indonesia, the confirmed positive cases of the Corona COVID-19 virus have reached 34 cases, of which 31 are still being treated, two patients have recovered and one person died due to a severe congenital disease.
