The insurance provision is part of the support of state-owned enterprises (SOE) to health workers in Indonesia currently struggling to treat and heal people exposed to the COVID-19 infection.

The SOE Ministry continues to take several initiatives in the context of overcoming the spread of the new virus.
Since its inception, the SOE Ministry and all ranks of SOEs have worked hand-in-hand to prepare various aspects for the benefit of the community.
Bank Mandiri has offered insurance protection, totaling up to Rp1 trillion, for health workers. This insurance is provided through its subsidiary, AXA Mandiri Financial Services.
The insurance provided to medical personnel is called the Mandiri Corporate Life Plan Insurance, with a validity period until March 31, 2021. The customer can make a claim by directly contacting AXA Mandiri through Customer Care 150083.
Bank Mandiri President Director Royke Tumilaar remarked that for Bank Mandiri, the provision of life insurance is a form of appreciation of the company to health workers, who have struggled to treat people exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
He reiterated Bank Mandiri's commitment to supporting efforts to combat the corona pandemic in the country.
Earlier, Bank Mandiri had handed over 20 disinfectant chamber booths to 17 hospitals in East Java and an ambulance to support the Emergency Hospital of Wisma Atlet in Kemayoran, Jakarta.
It also planned to distribute some six thousand Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to referral hospitals in the near future.
