The assistance will be passed on to small and medium businessmen in Indonesia.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises has received 1 ton of disinfectant from a group of South Korean businessmen through the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) as COVID-19 assistance.

Director general of KOTRA Jakarta, Lee Jong Yoon, handed over the assistance to deputy for production and marketing to the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Victoria Simanungkalit, in Jakarta on Thursday.

"The assistance will be passed on to small and medium businessmen in Indonesia,” Simanungkalit said.

The disinfectant will be sprayed at markets, cooperatives buildings, and small and medium business work sites to make them coronavirus free, she said.

Lee Jong Yoon said close relations between Indonesia and South Korea have led to the nations extending help to each other, adding Indonesia is a friendly country which has close ties with South Korea.

"We have many areas of cooperation, particularly between KOTRA and the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Businesses. Many programs have been successful," he said.
