"The number of the witness has increased. For now, we have 15 witnesses for questioning," the Jakarta Police' Director of General Crime Department Senior Commissioner Tubagus Ade Hidayat said after visiting the AGO complex, here on Sunday.
The result of the interrogation will be used for further investigation of the incident, he said.
Among the witnesses are on-duty security guards, workers in the construction site at the complex, and some employees of the office.
Information from AGO employees would be needed to get the building's blue print.
"This blue print is necessary in the investigation by the Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor)," Hidayat said.
A building at the AGO complex was engulfed by fire on Saturday (Aug 22) at around 07.15 p.m. local time.
The Jakarta Fire Department were managed to put out the fire at 06.28 a.m. on Sunday after it deployed 56 fire trucks and 300 personnel.
The police has yet to conduct a crime scene investigation as smoke has still blanketed some part of the building.
AGO spokesperson Hari Setiyono said the fire had not destroyed important data or documents but it damaged the office of the assistant attorney general for intelligence and the human resources department.
