Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned state-owned aircraft manufacturer PT Dirgantara Indonesia's (PT DI's) two commissioners, Thursday, for interrogation as witnesses in an alleged graft case on the company's sale and marketing activities during 2007-2017.

The two PT DI commissioners, identified as Slamet Soedarsono and Isfan Fajar Satryo, were questioned as witnesses in the cases against PT PAL Indonesia president director or director of aerostructure at PT DI from 2007 to 2010, PT DI Aircraft Integration Director from 2010 to 2012, and PT DI commercial and restructuring director from 2012 to 2017.

"The two were summoned as witnesses in the case against the suspect identified by his initials as BS (PT DI commercial and restructuring director from 2012 to 2017)," KPK acting spokesman Ali Fikri stated here on Thursday.

In addition, the KPK summoned two retired PT DI employees, identified as Tisna Komara and Abdul Ghofur, as witnesses in the case against BS.

Questioning of the four witnesses took place at the Bandung City Police Station, Fikri revealed.

On Wednesday, the KPK also questioned three witnesses in the case against BS. The trio are former independent commissioner of PT DI for the 2013-2015 period, Bambang Wahyudi; former chief commissioner of PT DI for the 2015-2017 term, Marshal (ret) Agus Supriatna; and PT DI chief commissioner in 2018, Yuyu Sutisna.

"We have sought confirmation from the witnesses about the process in which the commissioners have approved cooperation with sales partners," he remarked.

The KPK named BS as a suspect based on the investigation of the case on Oct 22, 2020.

In the alleged graft case, the KPK also investigated chief of the PT DI marketing and sales division for the 2007-2014 period and PT DI production director for the 2014-2019 period, Arie Wibowo (AW), PT Abadi Sentosa Perkasa President Director Didi Laksamana (DL), and PT Selaras Bangun Usaha President Director Ferry Santosa Subrata (FSS).

Meanwhile, PT DI president director, identified by his initials as BS, and former chief of the PT DI sales division, identified by his initials as IRZ, currently stand trial at the Bandung corruption court.

The graft case is believed to have inflicted state losses to the tune of Rp202 billion and US$8.6 million.
