Jakarta (ANTARA) - A total of Rp27.58 trillion has been allocated for financing infrastructure projects through State Sharia Securities (SBSN), or State Sukuk, for 2021, said director general of financing and risk management at the Finance Ministry, Luky Alfriman.

"For 2021, the SBSN infrastructure project (allocation) is Rp27.58 trillion, with a total of 870 projects spread across 11 ministries and institutions (K / L)," he said at the 2021 SBSN Infrastructure Project Financing Policy Forum in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Luky said the total allocation of Rp27.58 trillion for the 2021 SBSN project has been granted for 870 projects at 11 ministries and institutions, namely the Ministry of Transportation, Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Ministry, Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Education and Culture, Indonesia's National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (Lapan), Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), National Police (Polri), and National Nuclear Energy Agency (Batan).

He said the largest allocation is in the transportation sector as the Transportation and Public Works and Housing (PUPR) ministries have been tasked with strengthening connectivity and logistical support this year.

Overall, the 2021 SBSN project includes 40 land, sea, and air transportation infrastructure projects worth Rp5.66 trillion under the Ministry of Transportation and 148 road and bridge infrastructure projects worth Rp 10.53 trillion under the directorate general of highways of the PUPR Ministry.

Sixty-nine infrastructure projects worth Rp4.23 trillion will be undertaken for flood and lava control, management of dams and reservoirs, as well as management of irrigation and main urban drainage by the directorate general of water resources under the PUPR Ministry.

The projects also include eight Hajj embarkation projects and 42 integrated Hajj service center projects worth Rp382 billion under the Ministry of Religion, and 11 projects worth Rp2.78 trillion for the construction of facilities at the State Islamic Religious College and 269 Islamic schools by the directorate general of Islamic education under the Ministry of Religion.

They also include 135 projects worth Rp200 billion for building marriage halls and Hajj rituals under the directorate general of Islamic community guidance at the Ministry of Religion, and 19 projects worth Rp1.54 trillion for the construction of higher education buildings by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Meanwhile, Rp181.89 billion has been allocated for three national park development projects, construction of a field laboratory, and the development of a forestry vocational school by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

A sum of Rp659 billion has been set aside for seven laboratory construction projects at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences, Rp90 billion for an earth station facility construction project at Indonesia's National Institute of Aeronautics and Space, and Rp964 billion for 61 housing development projects by the Ministry of Defense.

Meanwhile, Rp199 billion has been allocated for 30 housing development projects at the National Police, Rp19.2 billion for a Bull Treatment Unit construction project under the Ministry of Agriculture, and Rp124 billion for a laboratory construction project under the National Nuclear Energy Agency.
