The wife, identified by her initials as R (20), survived, but suffered 70 percent burns and has been admitted to a local hospital, chief of the Percut Sei Tuan Police's Criminal Investigation Unit, Inspector-1 J Panjaitan, said here on Monday
Police are yet to disclose the motive which drove the man to commit the alleged crime.
“We are probing the case,” Panjaitan said adding, N’s neighbors were aware of the incident which occurred on Sunday. (INE)
