PT RNI's President Director Arief Prasetyo Adi said RNI Group's subsidiary Mitra Rajawali Banjaran (MRB) produced various types of Hype Oxygen Generator, including 02G-50 with capacity to produce 50 liter of oxygen per minute, 02G-100 (100 liter/minute), 02G-200 (200 liter/minute), 02G-300 (300 liter/minutes), and 02G-500 (500 liter/minute).
"Some hospitals have made purchasing order for the generator, starting from the types that produce 50 liter/minute to 200 liter/minute," Adi said in a statement here on Sunday.
With the oxygen generator, he said hospitals could produce oxygen without using the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technology by insulating nitrogen from the air to get oxygen with 93 percent purity that fit to the World Health Organization's (WHO) medical standard.
Adi said the innovation is in line with the President's Instruction No. 6/2016 to the State Enterprises Minister to increase the capability of state-run pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, and to improve self-resilience and competitiveness.
The oxygen generator has been recommended by the WHO to meet demand of oxygen for COVID-19 patients.

RNI Group is ready to produce five units of hype oxygen generator per 1.5 month, he said.
The company would work in coordination with the Industry Ministry and the Health Ministry on the provision of the oxygen generator in hospitals.
There is also a possibility to expand its distribution to business or factories that produce oxygen for households and COVID-19 patients in self-isolation.
The Indonesian Government is working to increase the production of medical oxygen.
The oxygen production capacity in Indonesia is 866 thousand tons per year, with annual production utilization pegged at 638,900 tons, of which 75 percent is used by industry and only 25 percent is used for medical purposes.
Based on data from the Ministry of Health, currently the total need for oxygen for intensive care and isolation of COVID-19 patients has reached 1,928 tons/day, while the available capacity is 2,262 tons/day.
