The PeduliLindungi application will be used to conduct initial screening of visitors in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, it explained.
"This application serves as an initial screening process to apply 3Ts (testing, tracing, treatment)," President Director of PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Teuku Sahir Syahali said on Thursday.
To gain entry into the park, visitors will need to have received the first COVID-19 vaccine dose, at the very least, he informed.
Syahali also urged visitors to refrain from visiting the Ancol Dreamland Park if they felt unwell.
He also asked the COVID-19 Task Force to patrol and supervise compliance with the health protocols in the Ancol recreation area.
The officers' function is to ensure that all visitors apply the health protocols, such as wearing masks and maintaining social distance, he said.
All patrolling officers have received both the required doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, he added.

Syahali said he expected all visitors coming to the park on the first day of the trial reopening to adhere to the health protocols, so that they can enjoy the attractions safely and comfortably.
"For this reason, let us be disciplined in applying the health protocols properly so that holiday activities are safe and enjoyable," he stated.
The Jakarta provincial government is conducting a trial reopening of two tourist attractions — Ancol Dreamland Park and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) — after the government relaxed Level 3 community activity restrictions in the city.
"Open for trials first, at TMII and Ancol," head of the entertainment and recreation supervision section of the Tourism Industry, Iffan Radja, said in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has issued Governor Decree Number 1072 of 2021 regarding Level 3 public activity restriction regulations, which stipulate trial reopening of some tourist attractions.
The trials are in accordance with the Instruction of the Home Affairs Ministry Number 39 of 2021 regarding Community Activities Restriction Levels 4, 3, and 2 in Java and Bali regions, valid from September 7–13, 2021.
Under the latest DKI Governor Decree, tourist attractions are required to follow the health protocols stipulated by the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry and the Health Ministry.
The tourist attractions can operate until 9 p.m. local time, and must use the PeduliLindung application.
In addition, children under the age of 12 are still prohibited from entering tourist attractions during the trial period.
The list of tourist attractions participating in the trial has been determined by the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry.
The trial plan for the opening of tourist attractions is being carried out after a meeting led by Governor Anies Baswedan on Tuesday (September 7, 2021).
