Head of the Aceh Education Service, Alhudri, said his side will make efforts to provide a pickup car for children with special needs to fulfill their educational needs.
"By God's will, we will strive to provide school buses to pick up students with special needs along with a development fund for their education," he stated on Thursday.
Alhudri conveyed the plan while closing the festival and literacy competition for students with special needs in Aceh Province at Banda Aceh City.
Alhudri lauded the teachers for their support by educating and nurturing the students in special needs school (SLB) to be successful and independent.

The role of teachers is important in supporting the growth and development of students with special needs. With the teachers' support, children will be able to become independent and intelligent and are expected to master skills in technology and uphold the faith.
"Students with special needs can tell their daily stories and can also read verses from the Quran. It is amazing. Thank you to all teachers, your task is indeed difficult," he remarked.
In addition, Alhudri noted that the festival activities should be held as a stepping stone to continue to build friendship and hone the students' skills in the literacy field.
"This activity is not for competition but is a forum to support school literacy and encourage students to compete for achievements. Whoever become the champions still have a long way to go in their future," Alhudri stated.
