Jakarta (ANTARA) -- PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC) sales in Q3-2021 were recorded at Rp526 Billion. Compared to Q3 of 2020 which is Rp465 Billion, a growth of 13%.
"In Q2-2020, our performance was greatly affected by the lockdown in Indonesia and our overseas subsidiaries. The same thing has also impacted on our performance in Q3-2021," said Corporate Secretary Lenggana Linggawati.
Lenggana continued, the lockdown affected sales across all of the company's units.
"However, we are still grateful that YTD September 2021, the Company's sales still increase by 28% compared to YTD (year to date) September 2020 (Rp1,584 Billion vs. Rp1,233 Billion).
"We are more confident that the remaining performance of this year can exceed the sales and net income targets set at Rp1,900 Billion and Rp165 billion.
The remaining challenges toward the end of this year are related to surge in raw material prices and lack of supply which could erode our gross margin in Q4 later, as well as the uncertain future conditions due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
"We also want to share a good news that the operation of our new factory in Surabaya is now expected to start in December 2021, one month earlier than our target," she concluded.
