"We have secured fuel supply along our distribution line from oil refineries to fuel terminals and petrol stations that will be ready 24/7," the company's Corporate Communication Vice President, Fajriyah Usman, stated in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Usman noted that the stocks of gasoline products, such as Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax, Pertalite, and Premium, would suffice for over 20 days, while gas oil products, comprising Solar, Biosolar, Dexlite, and Pertamina Dex, are sufficient for over 18 days, and aviation fuel stock would be adequate for 36 days.
The company's special task force for Christmas and New Year is currently on duty to monitor the national demand for fuel, as gasoline demand is projected to rise by six percent, while diesel fuel demand is expected to hike by 1.4 percent, he noted.

The utilisation of the Pertamina Integrated Command Centre and installation of a digital status dashboard at every petrol station allows Pertamina to monitor fuel stock availability and control fuel stocks in the event of an abrupt demand hike, the vice president noted.
Pertamina has also instructed key employees to stand by at respective posts and prohibit them from taking leaves during the period, he stated.
The company has readied 114 fuel terminals, 68 aircraft fuel depots, and over 7,400 petrol stations nationwide to cater to the public demand during the 2022 New Year period.
To anticipate a sudden hike in fuel demand, Pertamina has also readied 1,356 temporary roadside petrol stations on regular roads, 65 temporary stations on toll roads, 219 motorcycles to reinforce the Pertamina Delivery Service, 144 backup supply points for petrol stations, and 37 units of modular stations, Usman noted.
"We are optimistic that the 2022 New Year celebrations would proceed smoothly and the fuel stocks would fulfill the public demand," the vice president remarked. (
