The compliance awards were handed out to ministries, institutions, and regional governments based on their compliance with the public service standards, in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 25 of 2009, according to the Ombudsman. Fifteen government institutions were assessed from June 2021 to October 2021 for the awards. The assessment was based on the standards of public service provided through electronic and non-electronic media, the Ombudsman said.

The Ombudsman's internal party carried out the assessment based on the principles of integrity, compliance, fairness, non-discrimination, impartiality, accountability, balance, openness, and confidentiality, it added.
