Bekasi District, W Java (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Police's anti-terror squad (Densus 88) grilled two suspected terrorists caught by the police in Bekasi District, West Java, in a motorcycle theft case involving two minors.

"The two suspects, identified by their initials as SLH and MS, were arrested in their house in Setu Sub-district. They are now under the investigation of Densus 88," Tarumajaya Police Chief Adjunct Commissioner Edy Supriyatno stated here on Saturday.

According to Suprayitno, the two suspects are on the terrorist network list.

MS is a former inmate in a terrorism case and has completed his four-year jail term.

"During the search, the police found jihadist books and sharp weapons in MS' house. Meanwhile, SLH admitted that he was in charge of delivering logistics to the families of the convicts, who are still under detention," he remarked.

The two suspected terrorists are currently in the custody of the Bekasi Metro Police. Both of them were charged under Article 480 of the Criminal Code for receiving stolen goods and could face four years of imprisonment.

"The two fences are currently being questioned by the Densus 88 Anti-terror squad at the National Police Headquarters. I do not know the (terrorist) network yet," he remarked.

Supriyatno noted that the police had arrested two underage motorcycle thieves on January 27.

"The two perpetrators knew these terrorist suspects when they made a direct transaction. The stolen vehicles were collected, transported, and sold outside the (Bekasi) area by these two fences," he stated.
