We will expand the service to Greater Bandung, Greater Solo, Greater Semarang, Yogyakarta, Greater Malang, and Denpasar this week.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government plans to expand telemedicine services accessible through https://isoman.kemkes.go.id/ for COVID-19 patients conducting self-isolation in regions outside Jakarta, Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated here on Monday.

"We will expand the service to Greater Bandung, Greater Solo, Greater Semarang, Yogyakarta, Greater Malang, and Denpasar this week," he stated.

The minister remarked that through the service, 38 thousand medicines were sent to COVID-19 patients in Jakarta.

To avail the service, the patients must conduct PCR tests at laboratories integrated with the ministry’s new all record (NAR) system.

If the test result is positive, the patient will receive a message from the ministry. In addition, people can check the result using their own identity number at the site of isoman.kemkes.go.id/panduan.

Patients can avail an online consultation with a doctor at one of the 17 telemedicine platforms by clicking on the provided link in the message or site.

The platforms include Aido Health, Alodokter, GetWell, Good Doctor, Halodoc, Homecare24, KlikDokter, KlinikGo, Lekasehat, LinkSehat, Mdoc, Milvik Dokter, ProSehat, SehatQ, Trustmedis, Vascular Indonesia, and YesDok.

The patients can use the voucher code "ISOMAN" on the telemedicine platform to get free consultation.

After the consultation, the doctor will provide a digital prescription in accordance with the patient's condition. The prescription can be obtained through soman.kemkes.go.id/pesan_obat.

However, this is applicable to only asymptomatic patients or patients with mild symptoms that can conduct self-isolation and receive free medicines and vitamins.

Asymptomatic patients will receive 10 tablets of multivitamins C, B, E, and Zinc, while patients with mild symptoms will receive 10 tablets of multivitamins C, B, E, and Zinc; 40 capsules of Favipiravir 200mg; 40 tablets of Molnupiravir 200 mg; as well as paracetamol 500mg if necessary.

President Joko Widodo had earlier urged the people exposed to the virus to utilize telemedicine services and undergo self-isolation to reduce the burden on hospitals and other health facilities.

Currently, Indonesia is experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases. According to COVID-19 Task Force’s official site, on February 7, 2022, the number of confirmed cases in Indonesia has increased by 26,121 cases.

Meanwhile, 131,119,425 people were fully vaccinated, while 5,548,431 people had received booster vaccinations.
