Secretary of the Bali COVID-19 Task Force, Made Rentin, stated that Denpasar had recorded the maximum number of recoveries from COVID-19, reaching 563. He made the remark here on Tuesday.
Moreover, recoveries were recorded in eight other districts, such as 51 people in Jembrana, 162 in Tabanan, 379 in Badung, 258 in Gianyar, 114 in Klungkung, 68 in Bangli, 75 in Karangasem, and 115 in Buleleng.
As of Tuesday, Bali continued to record a high count of COVID-19 cases, capped at 1,862.

Rentin reported that Denpasar had clocked the most cases, with as many as 560 people infected by the virus. On the other hand, Jembarana had the least number of cases, with just 35 patients.
As many as 14 patients in Bali had succumbed to the disease.
Rentin stated that the facilities they had been readying to address the issues included 62 COVID-19 referral hospitals as well as 30 isolation centers.
"The total bed capacity of the isolation centers reaches 1,946. As of Monday (February 14), 874 beds, or 44.91 percent, were occupied and 1,072 beds, or 55.09 percent, were still vacant," he explained.
Rentin reminded Bali residents to stay disciplined in following health protocols and also get vaccinated immediately once they had been scheduled to partake in it.

Omicron was the latest variant of COVID-19 to have spread rampantly in Indonesia, causing the cases to spike up once more. The variant is characterized by its ability to transmit rapidly, although it was less fatal than its previous counterparts.
The Health Ministry has forecast that the peak of the Omicron strain would surpass the Delta outbreak in 2021.
