The government expresses its respect to the Judicial Commission that has built a tradition of transparency for all communities through the delivery of annual reports as well as by opening themselves to various feedback and strengthening support for pJakarta (ANTARA) - The government lauds the Judicial Commission that has built a tradition of transparency through its deliveries of annual reports and opening up to several community inputs, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated.
"The government expresses its respect to the Judicial Commission that has built a tradition of transparency for all communities through the delivery of annual reports as well as by opening themselves to various feedback and strengthening support for progress," Jokowi remarked at the 2021 Annual Report of the Judicial Commission virtually from the State Palace here on Wednesday.
According to Jokowi, transparency, participation, and adaptation are the keys in facing major rising challenges.

Furthermore, the head of state explained that the public's expectations of state institutions have grown higher for which he deems it necessary for government institutions to provide better services and create a more professional and adaptive system of administration and public services.
"We must be more productive and be able to work fast in this era of disruption and competition. The Judicial Commission is also urged to serve and ensure the fulfillment of the people's rights and interests to realize the justice system's independence to uphold law and justice," Jokowi affirmed.
Hence, the president emphasized that the government supports every measure taken by the Judicial Commission to improve the quality of its services, such as by continuing to apply and develop digital services.

The digital services highlighted by the president exist in the process of recruitment of judges, judge behavior reports, whistleblowing systems, online complaints to the Judicial Commission, and the use of the Judicial Commission mobile app in providing digital services content.
The Judicial Commission was established in 2004, and it is functioned to improve Indonesian judges' performance, integrity, capacity, and welfare. Moreover, the commission aims to boost public trust and participation.
