Jakarta (ANTARA) - State-owned mortgage firm PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) posted an income of Rp2.12 trillion in 2021, down 9.56 percent, as compared to Rp2.34 trillion in 2020.

“It fell slightly, but it still rose as compared to Rp1.86 trillion in 2019,”
PT SMF President Director Ananta Wiyogo noted during a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.

With the decline in income, the company’s net profit dropped by 2.1 percent to Rp460 billion last year, from Rp470 billion a year earlier.

However, the company’s total assets grew by 3.75 percent, from Rp32.51 trillion in 2020 to Rp33.72 trillion in 2021, while its total equities increased significantly by 22.68 percent, from Rp11.42 trillion in 2020 to Rp14.02 trillion in 2021.

“The increase was particularly the result of state capital injection (PMN),” he stated.

On the other hand, total liabilities and temporary syirkah funds fell 6.51 percent, from Rp21.07 trillion in 2020 to Rp19.71 trillion in 2021.

Likewise, the total tax burden and loan loss provisions (CKPN) dropped by 11.42 percent, from Rp1.87 trillion in 2020 to Rp1.66 trillion in 2021.

The amount of loans channeled rose, from Rp6.42 trillion in 2020 to Rp8.82 trillion in 2021, while the realization of funding declined, from Rp8.44 trillion in 2020 to Rp7.6 trillion in 2021.
