"We give our biggest congratulation for the 15 startups that have been chosen to participate in the fourth batch of the Startup Studio Indonesia program," the ministry's informatics application director general Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan remarked.
During the ‘Founder's Camp Opening Virtual Press Conference’ on Monday, he said that the 15 startups underwent stringent selection by a curator board.
The startups were chosen from among thousands of applicants from various regions of Indonesia.
They were evaluated based on the profile of the startup founders, appeal, potential to improve the sector and industry, as well as differentiation and locality factors.
The 15 chosen startups comprise Transporta, Wilov, Mufit, Envio, Allure AI, Ternaksia, OkeGarden, Paygua, Kendali, Surplus, Friendchised, Seryu Cargo, Universitas 123, Kibble, and Aksel.
The fourth batch of Startup Studio Indonesia will take place from April to July 2022, with the theme “More Brainstorming, Less Classes.”
Startup Studio Indonesia focuses on providing practical knowledge and insights through training conducted by more than 60 trainers who are active and renowned startup practitioners.

The training sessions focus on discussing iterations of product utilization and business models as well as improvement in product utilization retention before entering market expansion.
This is aimed at preparing startups for facing market uncertainty.
The fourth batch of the Startup Studio Indonesia will emphasize the spirit of collaboration between startups to build a resilient digital economy ecosystem together, Pangerapan informed.
This will be done through the transfer of knowledge, character development, and competition with highly competitive startups, he added.
The chosen startups will attend the Founder's Camp and 1-on-1 coaching sessions related to product-market-fit for four months.

The series of programs in Startup Studio Indonesia will then be concluded for Milestone Day, when startups will get the opportunity to outline their future business models and achievements in front of startup industry stakeholders.
The ministry expects that, through this program, it will be able to produce 150 digital startups by 2024 and help develop their business scale, Pangerapan said.
The business scale is defined in terms of the number of users, revenue, workforce absorption, and funding from venture capital, he elaborated.
