"We have prepared all traffic aspects optimally to support safe and healthy implementation of the 2022 Eid al-Fitr homecoming, including the traffic engineering schemes, officers, traffic service fleets, information and communication services, as welBekasi, W java (ANTARA) - State-run toll road operator PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk will temporarily stop all road construction work starting on the 10th day before Eid al-Fitr to ensure smooth homecoming trip for travelers.
General Manager Representative Office 1 of Jasa Marga Trans Jawa Toll Road Regional Division Muhammad Taufik Akbar noted here on Friday that his side will ensure that all toll roads have been paved neatly on the 10th day before Eid al-Fitr.
The maintenance team will also be deployed to ensure the reliability of traffic sign facilities on the main and functional roads.

The Jasa Marga official expected that the widening of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road is also targeted to be completed before Eid al-Fitr, so it can be operated amid the Eid al-Fitr holidays to increase the traffic lane capacity.
He also noted that several Rest and Service Areas (TIPs) will be readied along the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to support smooth flow of traffic.
"Furthermore, we are preparing additional portable fire extinguishers, ensuring availability of clean water, and deploying additional cleaning and security officers, as well as ensuring the availability of fuel, workshops, and e-money top-up services," he stated.

Akbar said his side will also coordinate with the police to implement several policies to avoid crowds and queues at TIPs that can disrupt the smooth flow of the exodus trip.
The policies include a scheme to alternatively open and close the rest area if it has been crowded as well as limiting the resting time to a maximum of 30 minutes for each traveler.
Akbar stated that all preparations continue to be optimized ahead of Eid al-Fitr to improve services for travelers.
