The figure includes 2,230 online consultations and 1,828 online complaints, Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi noted in a written statement received here on Tuesday.
"Thus, as of April 26, 2022, the number of consultations and complaints received by the 2022 Eid Allowance Command Post totaled 4,058 reports," he revealed.
Sanusi noted that from the total 2,230 online consultations, the ministry had resolved 1,779 reports, while the rest were still being processed. He made assurance to resolve the reports that were still being processed.
"For the consultation reports, which are still in process, we will complete them 100 percent," he emphasized.
As for the 1,828 complaints that the command post received, he affirmed that the ministry has followed up on two reports pertaining to the result of the performance inspection in Central Java and East Kalimantan.
For the complaints, the manpower inspector will follow up on complaints regarding companies that are late in paying THR to workers or laborers by inspecting the company, which is followed up by conducting one inspection that gives a time period of seven days to make THR payments to workers, he expounded.
Sanusi explained that if no heed is paid to the first inspection note, then the second inspection note will be issued that gives the company another seven days. If the THR payment is still not made, then fines and administrative sanctions will be imposed by making recommendations to the authorized official to enforce administrative sanctions.
Manpower Minister Ida Fauziyah had earlier stressed that companies should pay the allowance to employees no later than seven days before Eid al-Fitr.
The THR payment must be in accordance with the circular on the 2022 implementation of THR, dated April 6, 2022, No. M/1/HK.04/IV/2022, the minister stated.
