Business expansion that can be conducted is adding fleet or investment.Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - The national air transportation industry, especially helicopter chartering, is developing rapidly both in terms of technology and business, offering local companies opportunities to work with international firms to build their business.
“Business expansion that can be conducted is adding fleet or investing,” Whitesky Aviation CEO Denon Prawiraatmadja said here on Tuesday.
He made the remarks while receiving representatives of helicopter producer Bell Helicopter and Textron Group’s Capt A Toos Sanitioso at Cengkareng Heliport, Banten.
As a national helicopter operator, Prawiraatmadja spoke of his company’s intention of making breakthroughs and building cooperation with diverse parties to provide the best service to customers.
Cooperation with global helicopter producers for the addition of 30 Bell-505 and 10 Bell-429 helicopters to its fleet is among the company’s breakthroughs for business expansion, he informed.
“This investment opportunity for the US and Canadian companies is still at the initial stage,” he said.

The visit of representatives from Bell Helicopter and Textron Group was the first such interaction and will be followed up with more meetings to explore the mechanism and development of the helicopter business in Indonesia.
“Such breakthroughs are expected to offer business opportunities and mutually beneficial cooperation with business partners as well as to make people’s trips much easier,” Prawiraatmadja said.
