AP I also served 35,256 flights and handled 39,891,736 kg of cargo in April, he remarked.
In April 2021, the airport operator served 2,682,433 passengers, 38,886 flights, and 37,022,838 kg of cargo, thereby translating to the fact that in 2022, an increase of 28 percent was recorded for passenger movements and eight percent for cargo movement. The number of flights, however, decreased by nine percent.
"The number of passengers increased owing to a policy to relax the air travel regulations. We are optimistic that with the enactment of new requirements, the flight traffic will increase in Indonesia," he remarked.
