This support was confirmed through the 2022 Bloomberg CEO Forum sponsorship signing and kick-off event held here on July 19, 2022.
The initiative reflects LPS' commitment to making G20 more relevant and important, LPS executive head Lana Soelistianingsih said in an official statement released on Friday.
G20 is an international forum comprising 19 countries that work together to handle major issues. Indonesia is holding the presidency of the grouping this year.
Soelistianingsih also lauded the Bloomberg team for providing a platform to encourage discussions on global priority agendas.
The Bloomberg CEO Forum is considered to be an important meeting involving renowned CEOs from across the world and is expected to bring real investment to Indonesia.
LPS believes that the 2022 forum will facilitate the transition toward a green economy and the development of smart green cities, especially in Indonesia's new capital.
Moreover, the forum is expected to become a catalyst for investment in the health sector.
Soelistianingsih said she expects the event to help bring the partnership between LPS and Bloomberg closer to the goals of the 2022 G20 as well as in the coming years.
Indonesia has urged G20 countries to take real action and expects the same outcome from the Bloomberg CEO Forum.
The signing event was attended by Soelistianingsih as well as representatives from Bloomberg, namely South East Asia sales director David Hearn and South East Asia sales director Kavitha Subramanyam.
According to the G20 side events website, the 2022 Bloomberg CEO Forum is planned to be held in Denpasar, Bali, on November 11 and 12, 2022.
