We hope the people will register online through the official Bappenas websiteJakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) held Indonesia's SDGs Action Awards 2022 as a mark of appreciation for stakeholders that supported sustainable development programs in Indonesia.
Deputy for Maritime Affairs and Natural Resources at Bappenas Josaphat Rizal Primana affirmed that this competition will offer a platform to share information and experiences related to programs that have a real impact on sustainable development in Indonesia.
"This award forum is open and all stakeholders can participate," Primana noted at the start of the Indonesia SDG's Action Award 2022 monitored online in Jakarta, Friday.
Primana said six categories of government and non-government entities that can partake in this competition are ministries and agencies, provincial governments, civil society organizations (ormas), universities and research institutions, business actors, and youth organizations in addition to one special category called mass media.
"We hope the people will register online through the official Bappenas website," Primana said.

The head of the SDGs implementation team stated that three stages of selection comprised registration, the assessment process, and a panel review by the jury.
He explained that the implementation of this competition starts from the registration stage on August 12, 2022, to September 11, 2022, while the verification and assessment process for stages I and II will last for eight weeks, starting from the third week of September to the first week of November.
Participants who pass will go through the interview stage with the jury before the winner is announced at the peak event in early December of 2022.

Elements of the assessment of best practice proposed by the participants include innovative approaches and methodology signifying innovation, multi-stakeholder involvement in the program representing participation, impacts resulting from the program or program inclusivity indicating impact, as well as aspects of sustainability that can be maintained that represent sustainability.
“We conducted an assessment methodology for each category of participants in a consultative manner, including consultation with many parties. The assessment is based on commitment, qualitative performance, and quantitative performance,” Primana stated.
Jury members for this competition included Ahmad Avenzora, Maria Hartiningsih, Zumrotin, Yaya Winarno Junardy, Yanuar Nugroho, Myra Maria Hanartani, Triarko Nur Lambang, and Sonny Sukada.
