We remind the regional heads to implement this programJakarta (ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan called on the central and regional governments to immediately implement the Domestic Government Credit Card (KKP).
"Domestic KKP is important to be implemented immediately for transparency and to provide convenience in transactions for government goods and services," he noted at the launch of the Domestic KKP here, Monday.
Bank Indonesia (BI) recently launched the Domestic KKP under the coordination between Minister Pandjaitan with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara), particularly Bank Mandiri, BNI, and BRI.
The Domestic KKP will facilitate the purchase of government goods and services, both central and local, with a government credit card payment scheme that is processed domestically.

Domestic KKP is also a step to encourage the purchase of domestic products through the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI) and the Proud Traveling in Indonesia Movement in accordance with Presidential Instruction Number 2 of 2022, Pandjaitan remarked.
He said that the Domestic KKP will help to accelerate payments to Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by ministries, agencies, and state-owned enterprises to be immediately implemented in their respective agencies.
Pandjaitan also reminded all regions to immediately coordinate with the Regional Development Bank (BPD) regarding the registration of domestic KKP into their account.
"We remind the regional heads to implement this program," he added.

The minister also urged BI to provide assistance to all local governments regarding the implementation of Domestic KKP.
BI and OJK also need to continue to develop Domestic KKP to be able to function for online and offline shopping at the domestic and foreign merchants.
"Hopefully, this Domestic KKP would immediately be utilized in all government agencies for a more advanced, prosperous and independent Indonesia," he concluded.
