In a press release received here on Monday, Deputy for Sports Culture at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Raden Isnanta said that 20 thousand people will come to Batakan Stadium to form a "color collaboration" that reflects the spirit of sports as well as the spirit of creating Indonesian champions.
"Like the Haornas 2022 logo, which is decorated with various colors and the symbol of the state capital Nusantara (IKN), the 'hook' of various colors conveys a message that we must work together toward the goal of creating champions," Isnanta remarked.
He added that the 39th Haornas commemoration will also be attended by former athletes and all organizations that are members of the Indonesian Community Recreational Sports Committee (KORMI).
According to him, the event will become a place for Indonesian sports stakeholders to gather, such as the Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI), the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI), Special Olympics Indonesia (SOIna), legendary athletes under the Indonesian Olympians Association (IOA), as well as outstanding athletes.
Not only that, governors, district heads, and officials of ministries and institutions listed in the Grand Design of National Sports (DBON), as well as coaches and sports activators, will also be present at the stadium to show DBON's collaborative spirit.
This year's Haornas commemoration will be themed "Together Create Champions” and will be held live. The last two editions of the event were held virtually and were attended offline by a limited number of people in Jakarta due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
