Jakarta (ANTARA) - State-owned lender Bank Mandiri on Friday announced that it has disbursed Rp34.38 trillion in micro-credit (KUR) loans to more than 319 thousand debtors across Indonesia in the period from January to October 2022.



The value of KUR loans disbursed until late October 2022 represented 85.96 percent of the target of Rp40 trillion for 2022, senior executive vice president for micro and consumer finance at Bank Mandiri, Josephus Triprakoso, said in a written statement released here on Friday

The production sector such as agriculture, fishery, production service, and processing industry has continued to dominate in the disbursement of KUR loans, with Rp20.53 trillion or 59.71 percent of the KUR loans realized until the end of October 2022, he informed.



The disbursement of KUR loans to the agricultural sector reached 29.34 percent of the total, the production service sector 20.14 percent, the processing industry 8.22 percent, and the fishery sector 1.99 percent.

He said the disbursement of KUR loans was focused on key productive sectors in each region, including the agricultural sector, the production service sector, the processing industry, and the fishery sector.
