"(The vaccination event) is open from Tuesday, January 24, to Friday, January 27, 2023," the office's head of surveillance, epidemiology, and immunization, Ngabila Salama, said here on Monday.
The fourth dose of vaccination is held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. local time, with the Pfizer and Zifivax brands available, she remarked.
The vaccination locations are at the Jakarta City Hall, the Seribu Islands District Office at the Mitra Praja Tanjung Priok building and the offices of five Jakarta mayors.
Participants, with any ID cards throughout Indonesia, can visit the vaccination site directly and get the second booster shot, without the need to wait for the ticket in the PeduliLindungi application.
In addition, the vaccination site can serve people, aged 12 years and above, who are keen to receive the first and second doses of vaccination, as well as the third and fourth doses for those aged 18 years and over.
The minimum time gap between the second and third doses is at least three months, while the minimum interval between the third and fourth doses is at least six months.
To accommodate the fourth dose of vaccination, the Jakarta Health Office has readied three hundred vaccination spots every day starting from January 24, 2023.
Moreover, the office offers COVID-19 vaccination services in the afternoon and evening time from Monday to Friday between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time at 44 sub-district health centers.
There is also a weekend COVID-19 vaccination service on Saturday and Sunday until February 2023.
