Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Health Ministry has informed that the Peduli Lindungi application will be transformed into the Satu Sehat Mobile application, which is planned to be launched on February 28, 2023.

"We will be transforming the COVID-19 tracking app, Peduli Lindungi, into Satu Sehat Mobile on February 28," the ministry's chief of digital transformation office, Setiaji, announced in Jakarta on Thursday.

The transformed application will store almost all of each user's medical data, not only related to COVID-19, but also other illnesses. The medical records on the Satu Sehat Mobile application will include vaccination records, laboratory examination results, as well as a stunting database, he said.

"Mothers can access their children's vaccine status. If, in the future, the children want to study abroad, they can show their vaccination card for all illnesses on the Satu Sehat Mobile application," Setiaji explained.

Given these broad benefits, he urged the public not to uninstall their Peduli Lindungi application. He said that the ministry is also preparing the Satu Sehat application to be connected with wearable devices, which will allow for a point collection feature so users can exchange points for vitamins and other items.

In terms of data security, Setiaji assured that the health ministry has prepared an application that has passed an assessment from the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).

In addition, the ministry is also working to make the Satu Sehat Mobile application meet the ISO 27001 information security management standards, he added.

"We have made preparations such as for the BSSN assessment, the application has passed the assessment phase starting from the management and others," he informed.

The Ministry of Health launched the Satu Sehat platform in July last year. The platform integrates service data from health service facilities across Indonesia, including clinics, health centers, and pharmacies.
