"On April 1, 2023, DAMRI opened a new service route that connects Lampung to a number of major cities in Indonesia," Corporate Secretary of DAMRI Akhmad Zulfikri said as per a written statement received in Bandarlampung on Monday.
He said the new travel route has huge potential to strengthen connectivity from Lampung that is one of the economic and tourism center areas.
"The opening of a new route for the 2023 Eid period can be used by the community to facilitate mobility. With this new alternative travel route, it can also bring customers closer to their destination," he stated.
He affirmed that the service will be available every day, with various options for departure times that can be selected according to the customers' needs.
"The round trip route from Lampung to Bandung is operational, with a royal class service tariff of Rp450 thousand, through the departure point at the Tanjung Karang Station at 8 p.m. local time; DAMRI Gedebage Pool, at 4:30 p.m. local time; and DAMRI Kebon Kawung Pool, at 7 p.m. local time," he noted.
Furthermore, the Lampung-Yogyakarta route is operational, with executive class service via the Krapyak-Kalikangkung-Bawen Toll Road, at a tariff of Rp550 thousand that includes a meal voucher. The departure points are available at the DAMRI Rajabasa Pool at 3 p.m. local time, DAMRI Yogyakarta Pool at 10 a.m. local time, and DAMRI Semarang Pool at 1 p.m. local time.
A tariff of Rp335 thousand is charged for business-class service on the Lampung-Tasikmalaya route, and the departure point is at the Tanjung Karang Station at 7 p.m. local time, at the DAMRI Tasikmalaya Pool at 2 p.m. local time, and at the DAMRI Kebon Kawung Pool at 8 p.m. local time.
Business class service is offered on the Lampung-Bengkulu route, at a tariff of Rp325 thousand, with the departure point at the DAMRI Rajabasa Pool at 7 a.m. local time and DAMRI Bengkulu Pool at 2 p.m. local time.
"Through the opening of the new route, we also urge customers to order tickets online through the DAMRI application, so that the transaction process can be more practical and efficient," he affirmed.
