According to the press statement from the Indonesian President Secretariat Press Bureau, the first lady welcomed the arrival of ASEAN leaders' spouses at the closed-door event.
Bun Rany Hun Sen from Cambodia became the first ASEAN leader's spouse to be welcomed by Iriana followed by Vandara Sindaphone from Laos, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail from Malaysia, Louise Araneta Marcos from the Philippines, and Ho Ching from Singapore.
After extending a welcome, the ASEAN leaders' spouses headed to the waiting room that had been prepared.
While in the waiting room, they watched a demonstration on cloth weaving in East Nusa Tenggara.
They watched the event while being accompanied by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' official, Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, as well as the wife of East Nusa Tenggara governor, Julie Sutrisno Laiskodat.
Iriana then invited the ASEAN leaders' spouses to watch various other cultural activities, including the Dundundake dance performance as well as the Rangku Alu traditional game.
Moreover, the first lady brought them along to visit the second floor of the Puncak Waringin to see micro, small and medium enterprises' (MSMEs') products in the form of various handicrafts and regional foods.
The activity participated by the ASEAN leaders' spouses concluded with a tea party along with Iriana.
Songs from countries in Southeast Asia, including regional songs of East Nusa Tenggara, were sung during the tea party.
Iriana also highlighted the tourism appeal of Labuan Bajo to the spouses during the tea party.
