we need to bolster our cooperation to be more efficient and effective
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia and Vietnam have explored new cooperation on law enforcement against online content in social media affiliated with parties committing human trafficking crimes.

One of the prevention measures available in Indonesia and Vietnam to prevent cybercrimes and illegal online activities is the artificial intelligence (AI) monitoring system, he pointed out.

"Vietnam has the surveillance and crawling systems apparatus to monitor digital space and detect illegal and criminal activities there. Vietnam has it and Indonesia as well," Plate remarked.

The minister affirmed that the surveillance system in the two countries significantly facilitates cooperation potentials with digital platforms operating either in Indonesia or Vietnam.

Cooperation in this aspect will also ensure prompt and effective handling of illegal activities or law violations found in the digital space between two countries, he remarked.
