Nazara made the statement during a working visit to the province to attend the "Deputy Minister of Finance Greets" event at the State Finance Building, Ambon City, on Thursday (August 17), coinciding with the 78th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day.
"We, at the Ministry of Finance, are committed to continuously improving (the quality of) our services and strengthening the integrity of the ministry," he said in an official statement received in Jakarta on Friday.
He added that the ministry will soon implement a set of new arrangements with the objective of further improving the quality of services offered to all people and stakeholders.
He then directed all employees of the ministry in Maluku to continue to maintain and enhance the quality of services offered at the ministry's offices, especially those whose functions are directly related to the interests of the public and stakeholders.
The offices include the Tax Service Office (KPP), Customs Service Office (KPPBC), State Treasury Service Office (KPPN), and State Assets and Auctions Office (KPKNL).
Nazara then extended greetings from the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, to all ministry employees in Maluku province, especially those working in Ambon City and its surrounding areas.
He also motivated the employees by telling them that they are spearheading the duties assigned by the nation to the ministry in Maluku province.
"Let us continue our service. Let us continue making efforts to provide better services while maintaining the integrity of the Ministry of Finance. I wish you all good luck," he said.
