Minister Setiadi held a bilateral meeting with Japanese Minister of Digital Transformation Taro Kono accompanied by Minister of Home Affairs Tsuge Yoshifumi and Indian Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw at the G20 Digital Economy Ministers Meeting (DEMM) in India on Friday (August 18).

During the meeting, the minister remarked that each side discussed issues pertaining to the digital economy. He also expressed hope that the meeting would bolster the sound relations between G20 member countries and facilitate common views on priority issues of the DEWG this year.
"The main issues are Digital Public Infrastructure, digital capabilities to prepare the workforce, and security in the digital economy sector," Setiadi remarked.
He then highlighted that India would also open opportunities for cooperation with all G20 member countries.
He remarked that the bilateral meeting was held to accommodate the exchange of experiences between each side.
