The DAI sees this roadmap as a strong foundation towards a more integrated and quality insurance industryJakarta (ANTARA) - Insurance associations expressed their commitment to implementing the action plan contained in the 2023-2027 Roadmap for Development and Strengthening of the Insurance Industry.
Chairman of the Insurance Council of Indonesia (DAI) Rudy Kamdani assessed that through the road map, all stakeholders of the national insurance industry, including the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and 12 associations under DAI, can collaborate to realize a healthy and efficient insurance industry.
"The DAI sees this roadmap as a strong foundation towards a more integrated and quality insurance industry," he noted in the press conference of the roadmap launch here on Monday.
Through the collaboration among all industry players, he expressed hope that the roadmap would be able to encourage innovation, transparency, and professionalism that will eventually create a more favorable insurance environment for consumers.
Chairman of the General Insurance Association of Indonesia (AAUI) Budi Herawan remarked that the roadmap is a set of agreed directions and guidelines that will be carried out jointly by all general insurance and reinsurance companies along with their ecosystems to achieve a common goal.
According to Herawan, all general insurance and reinsurance companies welcomed the roadmap and praised OJK for involving all insurance associations in drafting the roadmap, so as to provide a clearer development direction toward a strong and healthy insurance industry.
"This roadmap should be carried out with full integrity, commitment, and sustainability, so that our goals can be realized and ultimately make the Indonesian general insurance and reinsurance industry grow strong and sustainable in our own country towards Golden Indonesia," Herawan affirmed.
The OJK officially launched the 2023-2027 Roadmap for the Development and Strengthening of Indonesian Insurance with the theme "Restoring Confidence through Industrial Reform."
