This readiness was marked by the arrival of Baznas' humanitarian team to Cairo on November 22.
"Our humanitarian team in Cairo collaborates with a number of philanthropic institutions to support humanitarian aid (distribution) to the Gaza Strip, Palestine," Achmad noted in a press statement on Thursday.
His humanitarian team is also keen to ensure the successful distribution of aid collected from the Indonesian people to Palestinians.
"Baznas' humanitarian team wants to support the aid distribution from the Indonesian people to Palestinians. We hope that our synergy with institutions in Egypt can ease the burden on the victims of Israeli attacks in Palestine," he remarked.
Moreover, the visit from the Baznas team to Egypt aims to launch the fourth batch of the Baznas Al-Azhar Scholarship Program (BSB).
Meanwhile, Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt, Lutfi Rauf, welcomed the arrival of the Baznas team from Jakarta. He noted that the support from Indonesia for Palestinians was urgently needed.
"Thank God, the Baznas team has arrived safely in Cairo, Egypt. Ahlan wa sahlan or hello to all of you who came all the way from Indonesia to Egypt to help our Palestinian fellows," he stated.
The ambassador conveyed that aid packaging from Baznas was one of the best and drew appreciation from several parties. He remarked that this is one of the reasons for the Indonesian aid being able to immediately enter Gaza.
"The proper packaging of the aid makes the delivery process smooth. The packaging model carried out by Baznas could be an example for sending another batch of aid to Palestine. Assistance from Baznas is included in those that have passed Israeli inspection and entered Gaza," he added.
