Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ragunan Zoo management in South Jakarta said it adjusted the visiting hours during the Ramadan month 1445 Hijri.

"It originally opens from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Western Indonesia Time, but during Ramadan, it will be from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Western Indonesia Time," Ragunan Zoo’s Public Service and Relations Staff, Wahyudi Bambang, remarked here on Tuesday.

Bambang stated that during Ramadan, the Ragunan Zoo is still open for visitors. However, it is closed every Monday and is open from Tuesday to Sunday.

Meanwhile, the tourist attraction will close this Wednesday (March 13), as it was opened on Nyepi Day on March 11.

Meanwhile, the zoo saw over 3,500 visitors on Nyepi Day.

"The number decreased when compared to the previous day when the figure reached 14,819 people," Bambang added.
