"Everything went well, and thank you cellular operators for being able to serve the community on Eid al-Fitr this time," he remarked at his official residence here on Wednesday.
During the important moments of homecoming and Eid al-Fitr, he said his ministry conducted monitoring from its Integrated Monitoring Center (PMT).
Telecommunications operators also set up service posts along the exodus route and at crowded points to ensure smooth cellular network services and assist service users who encountered problems, he noted.
Based on the monitoring conducted by the ministry and reports from the telecommunications operators, no problems interfered with cellular services until the first day of Eid (April 10, 2024).
Minister Setiadi also praised the hard work of all parties, especially cellular operators, who prepared a number of supporting facilities to ensure smooth connectivity.

Telecommunication service providers were asked to add supporting infrastructure, such as mobile base transceiver stations (BTS), to strengthen connectivity in several districts and cities in Indonesia during the period.
The four cellular operators, namely Telkomsel, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), XL Axiata, and Smartfren, prepared several mobile BTS, he informed.
Telkomsel prepared 36 mobile BTS, IOH 38, Smartfren 337, and XL Axiata 59.
