Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Ministry of Industry facilitated national medical equipment companies to participate in the Expomed Eurasia 2024 held on April 25-27 in Turkey to promote their products to European markets.

In an official statement received here on Sunday, spokesperson of the ministry Febri Hendri Antoni Arif noted that Indonesia's participation in the exhibition was made possible by coordination between his side and the Indonesian Embassy in Ankara.

"The Industry Ministry's presence at the international event was meant to introduce the potential of the Indonesian medical equipment industry in a bid to penetrate international markets, especially ones in Europe, through Turkey," he stated.

During the expo, the ministry also brought the Indonesian Medical Equipment Manufacturers Association (ASPAKI) and Association of Entrepreneurs of Medical and Laboratory Equipment, in addition to nine national medical equipment companies.
