According to TNI AU's press release cited here on Thursday, the talks were held during a meeting between TNI AU Chief of Staff Marshall Mohamad Tonny Harjono and THK Commander General Ziya Cemal Kadolu at the THK Headquarters.
During the courtesy call, the two figures touched upon the possibility of an exchange of soldiers and a transfer of knowledge on technology related to the primary weaponry defense system between the TNI AU and THK.
In addition to convening military cooperation, Harjono and Kadolu also spoke about air defense issues being faced by Indonesia and Turkey.
The TNI AU leader expressed optimism that his visit to the THK Headquarters would drive Indonesia and Turkey to continue maintaining their harmonious military relations.

Earlier, on Saturday (June 29), Harjono also conducted several activities during his official trip to Turkey, including paying a visit to Baykar Technology in Istanbul to take notes on the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and artificial intelligence (AI).
Baykar Technology is a Turkish defense company that specializes in the manufacturing of UAV and the development of AI. The corporation has been supporting Turkey's defense capabilities.
On the occasion, Harjono and his aides were briefed on the advanced technology used for Baykar Technology's UAV.
The air force chief also visited Baykar Technology's facility in Çorlu, where he had the opportunity to witness the flight demonstration of Bayraktar Akinci, a high-altitude long-endurance combat UAV manufactured by the company.
