Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chief of the Presidential Office (KSP) Moeldoko has made assurance that the government will allocate a budget for the development of Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in the 2025 draft state budget.

While the exact amount is not determined yet, Moeldoko remarked that the IKN development is included in the long-term development plan (RPJP).

"The IKN (development) has been included in the state strategic document," he remarked here on Tuesday.

The next administration of President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka will calculate the state budget's capability for the IKN development.

The KSP chief stated that the realization of the new capital city development will take into account the next government's needs and priorities.

In addition, Moeldoko believes there is no reason to harbor concerns about the continuation of IKN's development, as he said the next government aligns with the current government.
