"We all leave it to Mr. Prabowo," Lahadalia remarked after attending the National Young Entrepreneur Volunteers (Repnas) National Conference here on Monday.
He did not mention the number of ministerial positions secured by the Golkar Party in the Prabowo-Gibran government cabinet.
He emphasized that the determination of ministerial seats is the president's prerogative right, so his side chooses not to interfere and leaves everything to Prabowo.
"We entrust everything to him because it is the prerogative of the president-elect," he remarked.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Golkar Party, Adies Kadir, expressed gratitude while responding to the rumor saying that the party would get an allocation of seven ministerial seats in the Prabowo-Gibran government cabinet.
However, Kadir said he would still wait for Prabowo's official decision on the cabinet formation, as he has the prerogative right.
"I can only say thank God," he remarked at the parliament complex on Friday (October 11).
He admitted to not knowing exactly the number of ministerial seats that the Golkar Party would get in the upcoming cabinet, as the only parties aware of it are Prabowo Subianto and Bahlil Lahadalia.
"Of course, the president-elect coordinates with our chairman Mr. Bahlil Lahadalia, only the two of them and God knows (about the ministerial seat). We do not know yet," he remarked.
He also called on the public to wait for the official information from Prabowo, who will announce his cabinet composition right after his inauguration on October 20.
