"The true democracy lies in the form of the best education for our children and adequate health for all people," he said.
He stressed that education is an absolute must and informed that he has asked Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Satryo Soemantri Brojonegoro, and Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education, Abdul Mu'ti, to accelerate the education project for students.
According to Prabowo, the government will utilize technology to expedite and provide the best education to children.
He then observed that the health sector intersects with all elements of society.
Therefore, he has asked Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin to reform the health sector by addressing the issues concerning doctors and health workers.
"Health reform should address issues with doctors and health workers. We will have a program for that. We will discuss it later," Prabowo added.
During the meeting, he also asked his ministries to push for food self-sufficiency and energy self-sufficiency; support the Free Nutritious Meals program; and anticipate the threats of online gambling, drugs, smuggling, corruption, and leakage.
Prabowo officiated his Red and White Cabinet on October 21, 2024, consisting of 48 ministers and 55 deputy ministers at the State Palace, Jakarta.
From October 24–27, they are scheduled to participate in a ministerial briefing at the Military Academy, Magelang, Central Java.
According to Prabowo, the activity is expected to instill courage and heroism in Cabinet ministers since Magelang was a center of resistance during the colonial era.
